During 2006-8 I researched, photographed and wrote a sea kayaking guide to the South West of England; from the Bristol Channel to the Isle of Wight. I have used this blog to keep folk updated as to my progress and to reveal some of the wonderful scenery, culture and wildlife of this little corner of England.

Sorry Mark, I knew I had come across it for the first time very recently, and thought it was a quotation from “Yankee Jack Sails Again” referring to the “drowning coast” around Hartland, which I am still reading. When I couldn’t find it I guessed it must have come from your very interesting and informative writings. The pictures are good too.
