Sorry Mark, I knew I had come across it for the first time very recently, and thought it was a quotation from “Yankee Jack Sails Again” referring to the “drowning coast” around Hartland, which I am still reading. When I couldn’t find it I guessed it must have come from your very interesting and informative writings. The pictures are good too.
