Most of the photos I’ve taken for the book (some seen here in this blog) have been taken using a second hand Olympus digital SLR. This can produce some nice pics, but I treat it terribly and I am pretty sure that one of these days I am going to drop it into the sea. The three pics here are presented as evidence of this strong probability.

For those moments when it’s too risky to get the SLR out (caves, swell, surf etc.), I’ve just bought a compact waterproof camera as a back-up for the SLR. Hopefully this will give me a chance to add a bit more variety and spontaneity to my sea kayaking photos. All I need now, is somebody different to take pictures of.
