I’ve only recently got the D80 – for the book, I used an Olympus e500 – this isn’t a very good digital SLR but it is at least light and easy to stow, unlike the D80 which is like a housebrick.

I use either an Ortlieb bag or Watershed bag to keep the camera dry in the cockpit – both 100% dry except when open!

Just ‘googled’ the D80 – yep, that costs a packet!!! Still, results are worth it looking through the blog so money well spent. If you use it from the Kayak, do you use a waterproof housing of any sort?

I’m using a Nikon D80 – it cost a packet so I hope it might take the odd good photo!

I’m pretty annoyed by the ‘fringing’ effect that these photos have (vignetting) – I was trying out a new filter, which clearly wasn’t a success.
