Bant’s Carn is a passage grave dating from the Bronze Age. When it was built, it didn’t overlook the sea, as in this photo; instead, overlooked the broad central plain of Ennor. Ennor was a large island located off the SW tip of Cornwall. Rising sea levels eventually submerged the plain, with the numerous scattered remnants of Ennor making up what are known today as the Isles of Scilly.
