About this blog
'South West Sea Kayaking' is the title of a guidebook I researched, photographed and wrote in 2007-8. The guidebook covers the incredible South West coast from the Isle of Wight to the Severn Estuary. An updated Second Edition was published in 2011.- My wife and I are currently working on a number of projects; a guide to Britain's coastal environment, provisionally entitled 'Savage Shores', part of an upcoming guidebook to Britain's South East coast and an update to a whitewater guidebook to England. We both regularly write and photograph for magazines and other publications.
- This blog is simply a record of adventures and experiences along the way.

haha, they’re creepy when they pop up in ever increasing numbers like that.. “x-files seals”, counted some 100-ish stalking me on one occasion last year in the Uists.
It’s so hot and humid here in Edmonton, Canada right now that all these pics have me wanting to dive in and swim with them!
